Preparing for the unpredictable: are you ready for an automated future?

Due to rapid advancements in technology over the past few decades, Automation is everywhere.

From touch-screen check-ins at the airport and electronic road toll systems to on-demand virtual assistants like Alexa and Siri, automation is playing an increasingly significant role in our every day lives.

But while these unprecedented breakthroughs have in many ways made our lives easier, arguably, they have also resulted in the demise of once prosperous businesses like Blockbuster, Kodak and Toys R us, who failed to keep up the pace and remain relevant in the face of disruption.

Are you ready for what's ahead?

There is no doubt that as technology continues to revolutionise every major industry, the nature and structure of the work we do will radically change.

The advent of automation in the digital workplace opens up a wealth of benefits and opportunities, but there is also a growing fear of the impact it will have on the current roles us humans occupy.

So where will this drive towards a more automated future take us and how will it affect the way we work and live?

There are many negative predictions out there on how many jobs will disappear as a result of automation and how anxiety levels will increase as we struggle to deal with relentless change. But there are equally many positive predictions on its potential to transform business, improve efficiency and create more new and exciting jobs in the future.

What's your view?

At Adaptavist, we are excited to be part of the automation revolution, and we want to support you on your automation journey.
