We were always reacting; now we can be proactive, and I don't even know what that means yet, because we haven't had the luxury of thinking that way before.
We tried to use tutorials to do the setup ourselves, but there are so many options on monday.com, and it is so customisable that we found it difficult to know where to start. We don't really have a tech team—like a lot of nonprofits, everyone wears many hats! We really just needed someone to come in who could get it right for us.
The dashboards that we have in monday.com are really helpful in laying out the information in a way that's not only easy to understand but also very visually pleasing.
Tooling is not the same as a process—tools are systems that enable teams to amplify the way they operate. Simply putting an application in place without solving the underlying issues will highlight your problems, not solve them.
