Across The Adaptavist Group, we’re focused on continuing to improve our market-leading apps, with recent news such as the introduction of Behaviours for ScriptRunner for Jira Cloud, a major scripting innovation for ScriptRunner for Jira Data Center, and the exciting launch of the Kolekti brand.
With this focus in mind, we will be retiring dotMenu for Bitbucket, on 25/06/2023.
Why is dotMenu for Bitbucket being retired?
Despite remaining a free app since its launch, we have seen a decline in interest in dotMenu for Bitbucket in recent years.
We’ve been keen to support on innovations across Cloud and Data Center apps, and must review the effort required to make our entire portfolio compatible with newer versions of the Atlassian tools that they enhance. These things combined led to an agreement that our time and effort are better spent on continuing to innovate with our other existing apps and on developing new ones entirely.
What does this mean for dotMenu for Bitbucket users?
Support for dotMenu for Bitbucket will no longer be available as of 01/12/2023.
You will still be able to use the app if you have it already installed. Please note, however, that we will not be updating the app to make it compatible with future versions of Bitbucket.
