Adaptavist Expands Global Footprint with Acquisition of Spanish Atlassian Gold Solution Partner Salenda

The acquisition helps reinforce Adapatavist’s 24/7 customer support in over 60 countries worldwide.

We’re proud to announce that Adaptavist has just acquired Madrid based software development company and Atlassian Gold Solution Partner Salenda and are delighted to welcome its employees to the global Adaptavist team. This acquisition reinforces our global reach in 60 countries world-wide and will soon be followed by plans to broaden our footprint in Asia as well as Europe.

Established in 2007, Salenda is an important player in the Groovy community, an open-source language that is the backbone of our ScriptRunner suite, and has some of Spain’s largest enterprises among its clientbase including electric utility company Endesa and global leader in infrastructure engineering and consultancy Ineco. Salenda is Adaptavist’s third acquisition in Spain and its Madrid location enables us to attract more local talent and to expand our business within the Spanish speaking world.

Álvaro Sánchez-Mariscal, owner of Salenda, adds: “Both Adaptavist and Salenda share some unique strengths that made this acquisition a logical step, including being big players in the Groovy community and having a strong focus on the Atlassian ecosystem. Now, with Salenda as part of Adaptavist, the future is brighter for our customers and employees which have the support of a larger organisation as well as a market that’s continuing to grow and that offers great benefits for multi-national companies like Adaptavist.”
