Three Talks Not To Miss at Atlassian Open Vienna

Heading to Vienna for 2019's Atlassian Open? So are we! After reviewing the list of talks on the agenda, we've narrowed it down to three "must-see" (alongside the incredible keynotes, of course!). Here are our picks:

  1. DevOps vs. Compliance: A Guide to Having it All with Guy HerbertRisk Futurist at Atlassian. Besides "Risk Futurist" being a really cool job title, getting an inside look at how Atlassian manages SOX and ISO compliance standards while still delivering the value that DevOps practices can bring will definitely be of interest.

  2. Building Trust in the Cloud with Open Practices with George Totev, Head of Risk & Compliance at Atlassian. It can't be easy to provide a safe and secure SaaS. There are massive regulations around data privacy, the constant risk of security threats, and of course, the aforementioned compliance issues. At the same time, Atlassian has to balance those against their need to fulfil the market's demand for innovation. We can't wait to hear what George has to say about how Atlassian handles these complex issues.

  3. Bringing Agile Fundamentals to Life at Atlassian with Tom TsaoHead of eCommerce at Atlassian. Who couldn't use a refresher on the history of Agile? Tom's going to take us through a tour of Agile's history and then dive into Atlassian's Agile heart with case studies and examples of how they stay Agile day-to-day.

These talks will provide some excellent insight into how Atlassian is operating in today's complex world. We'd love to hear your thoughts, so be sure to stop by booth 15 and say "Hello!" You'll find us there throughout the entire event on the expo floor. See you in September!
