Chariots of JIRA

Congratulations to Sam Lesser of Adaptavist’s London office who completed the Brighton Marathon last weekend in support of Prostate Cancer UK.

Running his first ever marathon and finishing in a very creditable 4:21:33, Sam can finally change the status on his JIRA ticket for Train for and run the Brighton Marathon to Completed.

Setting off from Withdean Park in cool, cloudless conditions, Sam joined nearly 11,000 other runners on the streets of Brighton and Hove. The races were won by Kenyan runners Duncan Mayio, who finished just outside the course record, and Grace Momanyis.

Sam smashed his fundraising target and has currently raised £1,672 for the charity. You can still donate at his JustGiving page.
