Adaptavist wins Atlassian Partner of the Year: Cloud Experience

It’s official! Our cloud experience is second to none

When we talk about customer experience at Adaptavist, we really mean it. It’s our mission to ensure our customers not only have access to the best products and services on the market, but also that their experience using them is second to none. This has become especially important in the cloud, which Atlassian continues to invest in and drive customers towards.

Our ongoing commitment to cloud customer experience has once again been recognised and rewarded. We’re delighted to announce that we have been selected as Atlassian Partner of the Year 2021: Cloud Experience for our market-leading app Content Formatting Macros for Confluence Cloud. It's the third year in a row we've scooped an Atlassian Partner of the Year award, and the second of which has been for a cloud award, highlighting our ongoing commitment to Atlassian Cloud.

A unique app to extend Confluence’s functionality

Content Formatting Macros for Confluence is an incredibly powerful and impactful app across server and data center, and our cloud version is no different. 

We launched Content Formatting Macros for Confluence Cloud in October 2020 to facilitate our customers’ journey to Atlassian cloud and ensure they have the tools and support to customise, enhance and structure their cloud content for better engagement. Since then, we’ve continued to develop the app, releasing new macros unique to the cloud and creating a dedicated in-app homepage to help users navigate and utilise the macros. 

The range of macros on our cloud app reflects customer insights and demand. Teams of all sizes and disciplines use Confluence, so regardless of whether users are in a business, technical or niche role, Content Formatting Macros for Confluence Cloud provides a solution. This includes everything from basic design elements like cards and progress bars through to more advanced referencing capabilities like BibTex.

Supporting our customers’ journey to Atlassian Cloud

Atlassian has put a huge emphasis on the cloud migration experience in the past year. As they’re accelerating the journey towards cloud, we’re working hard to ensure customers have all the tools, support and information they need not only for a smooth transition, but an optimum experience when working in the cloud. 

For Content Formatting Macros, this means focusing on innovation and exploring how we can maximise cloud technology to benefit users. One example of this is nesting. This is a common feature that allows users to use macros together on server and data center, but isn't yet readily available on cloud. Our customer-centric approach has helped us to enable this feature so our customers can continue using complementary macros together on their Confluence Cloud pages. We’re the first on the market to offer this functionality, giving our users even more value.

As for cloud migrations, our customers experience clear, helpful communication from us to support their journey, from app-specific migration guides to interactive FAQ webinar sessions. We’ve developed a seamless migration path to ensure custom pages and content are still accessible uncorrupted, with the added benefit of new dedicated features available only to cloud customers.

We recognise that cloud is the future for many Confluence users, therefore our app needs to continuously evolve to meet customer requirements. Our dedicated Content Formatting Macros for Confluence team is always working towards the next release, the next feature and the even-better-if functionality.
