Here in Adaptavist's Confluence team, we're excited to usher in the Confluence 8 era and devote more resources to improving our suite of market-leading apps.
As part of this focus, we've decided to retire Ratings for Confluence on 10 March 2023.
Why is Ratings for Confluence being retired?
Ratings for Confluence is one of Adaptavist's oldest active apps, spanning 15 years and many satisfied users.
Despite remaining a free app for the duration of its lifespan, Ratings for Confluence has seen declining interest in recent years. As we continue to support customers in their journey to Atlassian Cloud and Data Center, we're making decisions about where to focus our time and investment to deliver the best possible value to our customers.
Coupled with the need to ensure all our apps are compatible with Confluence 8, we've decided resources are better utilised in upgrading and improving other existing apps and developing new ones.
What does this mean for Ratings for Confluence users?
As of 10 March 2023, we will no longer offer support for Ratings for Confluence. However, you will still be able to use the app and download existing versions from the Atlassian marketplace. That means that if you still need Ratings for Confluence on your instance, you can access it. Note that we won't make the app compatible with future versions of Confluence.
