Confluence and Jira integrations, extended with ScriptRunner
JP and Bobby from Adaptavist will showcase some cool integrations between Jira and Confluence out-of-the box. After that, they'll show you how to go beyond native integrations by using ScriptRunner for Confluence. Bobby will take you through the step-by step process of writing a script. Together, we'll learn how to create an automation that creates an issue in Jira wherever a space is created in Confluence.
If you want to try your hand at scripting by following along, you will need to prep in advance a Jira and Confluence instance connected to each other, with ScriptRunner for Confluence installed. But if you just want to watch, we will share the annotated script at the end, so you can study it in your own time. This session is aimed at beginners and intermediate users interested in scripting, but if you just want to learn what's possible you will also get plenty of value.
