Add Label Macro

Steps:

  1. Add the Label Macro

    You can do this either using the mark-up


Or by selecting the Add Label Macro from the macro editor

 

 

2. Add labels

In the editor you can add labels as a comma separated list.

3. Save the macro

4. Save the page

The macro adds labels like this:

The labels cannot contain special characters ( , !, #, &, (, ), *, ,, ., :, ;, <, >, ?, @, [, ], ^) and will be considered invalid characters

 Choose Label macro

The functionality of the Choose label macro, is to allow the user to choose one Label from the Label Descriptions list. When one of the Labels is chosen, the chosen Label will be added to the page

Steps:

  1. Add the Choose Label Macro

    You can do this either using the mark-up

    Or by selecting the Choose Label Macro from the macro editor

     

 

2. Add labels

In the macro editor you can add Labels and their respective Descriptions as a comma separated list against the macro parameters.

 

3. Save the macro

4. Save the page

On saving the page, the user can see the list of Label Descriptions as shown below

When one of the labels from the above list is chosen, the chosen label will be added to the page.

If Team Managers is chosen from the list, its corresponding label "managers" will be added to the page.

If QA Team is chosen from the list, its corresponding label "testers" will be added to the page.

If Dev Team is chosen from the list, its corresponding label "developers" will be added to the page.

NOTE :

  • The Label Descriptions list will be seen on the page only until a Label is chosen. Once the label has been chosen, the Label Descriptions list cannot be seen again.
  • The Label Descriptions list will not be seen on the page after choosing a label, even when the macro is edited and a new label is added.
