Why is Atlassian updating prices?
These pricing adjustments represent Atlassian's investment in AI, Teamwork Graph, integrated workflows, and enterprise capabilities. For organisations that are serious about digital transformation, these advances bring exceptional value, including increased productivity, better transparency, and a better understanding of organisational data.
Value delivered in 2025-2026:
Some examples of how Atlassian has invested in platform and product enhancements over the last 12 months are:
- Introducing new ways to access context with Teamwork Graph through Teamwork Graph CLI, the Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server, and the Forge Connector. These improvements provide context across Atlassian apps, and wherever work happens outside Atlassian. With over 150 billion objects and relationships, the Teamwork Graph maps how work, people, and context relate so AI can act with understanding.
- AI agents now turn context into action across every workflow. They own tasks and trigger automations in Jira, refine content in Confluence using your organisation’s context, and power custom agentic loops, built in Rovo Studio, that connect teams and drive shared outcomes.
- Atlassian has strengthened the enterprise-grade infrastructure layer, expanded its compliance footprint, introduced new tiers for scale, added new observability features, and continued to invest in reliability and security across the platform.
- Jira is now the control plane for AI-native teams. Agents in Jira take on the work, Create with Rovo and Rovo project management skills accelerate it, and Jira Cloud for Slack connects it to the tools teams already use.
- Confluence is now the AI-native source of truth, and it puts that knowledge to work.
- With Service Collection (Jira Service Management, Assets, and the new Customer Service Management app), teams can now resolve requests, run IT operations, and manage assets with AI working across every step.
