The Privacy Mark macro highlight parts of content that is referred to by a privacy policy. 

This macro uses a recognizable icon with custom tool-tip to indicate that the adjacent content has privacy implications that the user needs to be aware of. When clicked, the page will focus on any privacy statement added with the Privacy Policy.


Click Insert > Other Macros.


Select the Privacy Mark macro from the provided list.



Complete the desired fields.




The text to display in the tooltip.




CSS ClassSpecifies a CSS Class to be added to the element.stringnone



The macro will then appear on the page.


Adding a Privacy Mark

Simply add the macro to the page in the position you would like the Privacy Mark to appear. This example with Title parameter set to "Only analytical data gathered".

That results in the following:

Clicking on the icon will take you to the privacy statement, if there is one, on the same page.


Hints and Tips

If there's something on a page that is discussed in your privacy policy, use this marker to highlight it. You should also have use the Privacy Policy further down the page to provide more information.
