I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate an externally designed layout into Confluence/Theme builder layout.

The design has a content area, decorated by 6 images: top-left, top-center, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-center and bottom-right. To save on calls to the server, the different background images are merged into one physical file.

In the design template, there are a bunch of empty divs placed into the content area, which are absolutely positioned and have the background images set on them.

I'm trying to figure out how to "inject" these divs into the content area for each page that is shown through the theme we have, but I cannot figure out if possible and if it's possible how to do it.

I had hoped I could do something in the theme with the content of the contant part of the layout, but you cannot add something in there in the theme builder.

Are there options (other than hacking some of the velocity files used by Theme Builder)?
