Using comments within the forum macro bring a html encoding problem. Adding comment like this one

<node name="xxx">

...

</node>

works ok. However if I try to edit this comment and if I'm in wiki markup mode I see this result:

<node name="xxx">

      ...

  </node>

Is there a way to avoid that?

  1. Use the {code} macro as that is precisely what it is for (wink)

    This is probably a problem with Confluence page comments in general, not just related to the forum pages??

        I've tested this myself in Confluence 3.0 and can't reproduce this result in a comment on a normal page, or a comment in a forum page.

        Have you made any changes to the comment.vmd layout or have any other themes installed at all?

          comments.vmd is not touched. I'm using the default theme with some customizations in the layout
