Atlassian Summit 2015 was the first since Atlassian announced that they had met their original mission of having 50,000 customers. Under the banner of Smarter, Better, Faster, Stronger Teams they unveiled some remarkable stats about where they've come from and where the business is heading.

  • Over 2,600 attendees. Summit sold out two weeks before it started. Going to need a bigger venue next year!
  • More than 50,000 customers individual companies using a commercial licence of 10 or more users
  • 375,000+ other organisations using Atlassian software in non-profits and teams of less than 10 users
  • Over 5 million active users on a monthly basis
  • Over 50% of Atlassian customers use an Atlassian product in the cloud
  • Now more than 2,000 add-ons in the Atlassian Marketplace
  • $100m of lifetime add-on sales via the Atlassian Marketplace.
  • $69m of licenses given away free to non-profits
  • Over 500 companies have joined the Pledge 1% movement inside the first 12 months of the scheme
  • 160,000 items of feedback in Atlassian's public issue tracker. Now extended to 15,000 items of feedback per month with broader feedback surveying
  • Confluence is twice as fast as it was a year ago
  • HipChat is 4x faster on mobile than it was a year ago
  • 5,000 of Atlassian's 50,000 customers are Enterprise-level with 1,000 users or more
  • 79 of the Fortune 100 are customers
  • Now there are over 50 Enterprise Expert Partners in more than 20 countries
  • 88% of the Top 25 Confluence add-ons are now Data Center compatible
  • 96% of the Top 25 JIRA add-ons are now Data Center compatible
  • JIRA at scale is 30% faster than a year ago
  • The largest JIRA instance in the world (Autodesk's) has more than 1 million issues
  • Now more than 1,500 people in Atlassians team around the world
