Community Forum Closure Notification

Adaptavist would like to extend our thanks to all of the forum visitors who have used the Adaptavist Community forums to post questions about our plugins.
In order to improve our plugin support, Adaptavist are upgrading the way that we deal with support queries. Since Monday the 25th February 2013, these forums were closed and will remain in read-only format. Can I have the user's name as part of a default title?

I know I can use %parenttitle% to help create an automatic title, but I'd like to create new pages with default titles based on the username. Is this possible with the create page plugin?

    Thanks for your question. You could probably achieve something like this using our Replace and Render plugin with create-page and another plugin to provide the name - perhaps the reporting plugin or a user macro. Here's some examples of replace and render use. Failing that, we can make this a feature request, or if there's a business need for it then you could consider some consultancy work.

    Thanks — I think the replace-and-render solution will work for us, although it's a bit convoluted. Can we make this a feature request so we can eventually move to doing it in the more-straightforward way? (Another nice options might be %date%.)
