Overview:

The {privacy-policy} macro displays a short privacy statement on your site which links to your main Privacy Policy...

This macro creates a recognisable privacy statement for any page on your site where you might need to display one to let the user know that you're tracking their data, etc.

Parameters:

This macro is used as shown below:

{privacy-policy:page}message{privacy-policy}

Parameter	Required	Default	Notes
default		Privacy Policy	The title of the page that contains your full privacy policy.

Examples:

Adding a Privacy Statement

Add a privacy statement as follows...

{privacy-policy}We're watching *you*...{privacy-policy}

By default, the statement will link to a page called Privacy Policy in the current Space. As we don't have a privacy policy in this space, the link will appear broken - time to look at the next example...

Custom Privacy Policy Page

You can specify an alternate page, even one in a different space, for your full privacy policy as follows:

{privacy-policy:ADAPTAVIST:Privacy Policy}We're watching *you*...{privacy-policy}

Resulting in:

Privacy Policy

We're watching you...
