This plugin allows static scripts, like JavaScript, to be created within Confluence and used on pages with the performance benefit from caching of such scripts without requiring access to the server itself. It's particularly useful for Confluence Admins where the HTML macro may have been disabled for security reasons, but Admins still want the ability to embed scripts within pages.
A configuration page provides the ability to manage your scripts - with options to create new ones as well as import and export existing scripts.
Each script has an id, title and a content type - you can choose from HTML, CSS or Javascript. With use of a macro, these scripts can be embedded within Confluence pages as if they were an external file, and so are cached by the browser meaning they don't have to be reloaded when the page or script is used again.
