Replying to Tickets

(None)

This tutorial explains how to add more information to a ticket, eg. when replying to a question asked by Adaptavist...

Step 1: Open the ticket in your web browser

First, open the ticket in your web browser - you can do this by clicking the link in a notification email, or by searching for the ticket in our Customer Support portal.

Step 2: Add a comment

To add a reply (known as a "Comment") click the "Comment on this issue" link in the "Operations" section of the navigation panel:

A textbox will appear at the bottom of the page where you can enter your comments:

Tip: You can use wiki notation in your comments. For information, click the small help icon () next to the comment box.

If desired, you can preview your comment by clicking the preview icon () next to the comment box:

When you're happy with your comment, click the "Add" button to add it to the ticket. All participants of the ticket will receive an email notification alerting them to your new comment.
