Normally, your support tickets can only be seen by yourself and Adaptavist staff. Follow this tutorial if you would like to give other users, eg. people you work with, access to your tickets...
The people you want to give access will an account on our site - they should create an account first if they have not already done so.
Adding other users to the current issue.
This process should be used when you want to give someone else access to a single ticket.
Open the ticket in your web browser and choose "Edit" from the Operations menu:
Scroll to the CC field and enter the user names of people who should be given access to the ticket. If you're adding more than one person, separate the usernames with commas.
When you've added the desired users to the CC field, click the "Update" button to save the changes. Those people will now be able to see the ticket and will also get change notifications when comments are made, etc.
Adding other users to multiple issues.
This process should be used when you want to give someone else access to several or all of your support tickets.
Open any of your existing tickets and click on your name in the "Participants" field:
You'll be shown a page with all the tickets you've participated in. Click the "All <number> issue(s)" link next to the "Bulk Change" label, as illustrated below:
You'll now see checkboxes appearing next to all your tickets - select the tickets you want to change and click the "Next" button.
Tip: If you click the checkbox at the very top of the table, it'll select all your tickets.
You'll now be given a list of options - choose "Edit Issues" and then click the "Next" button:
You'll be presented with a form showing you all the things you can change. Scroll down to the "CC" field and tick the box next to it, then type in the user names of people you want to give access to. If you want to give multiple people access, separate their user names with commas.
At the bottom of the page, choose whether to send the new participants an email and then click the "Next" button:
After reviewing the summary of your changes, click the "Confirm" button to update all the tickets listed:
