Topaz is a powerful 8.8GHz dedicated physical server, providing rapid scalability of mission-critical Atlassian applications.

Which products are supported?

Our dedicated hosting servers currently provide support for all of Atlassian's products, including Confluence, JIRA and Crowd.

If you need a new product license, you can get a 10% discount (in addition to any bulk license discounts) when purchased for a Dedicated Hosting account.

If you already have a license, let us know and we'll transfer any existing data you have free of charge.

Being a dedicated server, you can install your own applications and services on to the machine if desired, however Adaptavist won't be able to manage them for you.

Suggested Uses

Topaz is designed for organisations that require a fully managed dedicated hosting solution for several Atlassian products with high reliability and plenty of headroom for future growth.

A dedicated server provides secure access to the operating system and file system via SSH, and can optionally be customised to allow VPN access, etc.

Topaz can host up to 18 Atlassian products, common configurations include:

• Running several large Confluence wikis (live, staging, QA, etc) and several other applications
• Running a range of development applications (Bamboo, Clover, Crucible, Fisheye, JIRA)
• Running custom applications and/or services alongside Atlassian products

A Topaz server can quickly be upgraded to a maximum of 12GB RAM and, should the need arise, can be rapidly upgraded to our Diamond server.

If you don't need quite as much power, save money by using our Sapphire server which provides a rapid upgrade path to Topaz at a later date should you need it. If you're looking to cluster a Confluence wiki, we'd recommend using Sapphire servers.

Encrypted connections with SSL

Support

The servers and managed applications are fully supported under our Standard Support service while you host with us. If you need mission-critical support, various support packages are available on request.

Prices

The Topaz server costs £250 GBP per month, which includes management of one Atlassian application. Additional Atlassian applications can be managed (up to a maximum of 18) for an additional £35 GBP per application per month.

Discounts are available for paying in advance:

• Quarterly (3 months): 5% discount
• Annual (12 months): 10% discount
