Diamond

Diamond is a monster 15.2GHz dedicated physical server, providing rapid scalability of mission-critical Atlassian applications.

With 15.2GHz CPU power and rapidly upgradable to 16GB RAM, plus a whopping 750GB RAID 1 disk configuration (that can be upgraded further on request), Diamond is our most powerful off-the-shelf enterprise grade server.

Which products are supported?

Our dedicated hosting servers currently provide support for all of Atlassian's products, including Confluence, JIRA and Crowd.

If you need a new product license, you can get a 10% discount (in addition to any bulk license discounts) when purchased for a Dedicated Hosting account.

If you already have a license, let us know and we'll transfer any existing data you have free of charge.

Being a dedicated server, you can install your own applications and services on to the machine if desired, however Adaptavist won't be able to manage them for you.

Suggested Uses

Diamond is designed for organisations that have extremely high usage applications where CPU and RAM requirements are critical.

A dedicated server provides secure access to the operating system and file system via SSH, and can optionally be customised to allow VPN access, etc.

Diamond can host up to 32 Atlassian products, common configurations include:

• Running several high utilisation, mission-critical applications
• Running high load third party software, such as streaming media servers, alongside Atlassian applications
• Providing hosting for your customers applications (eg. Adaptavist Partners can use a Diamond server to provide their own Shared Hosting service)

If you don't need so much resource and power from the outset, please consider using our Topaz server which will work out cheaper (but can quickly be upgraded to a Diamond server if reqiured) and also help the environment by using less power.

If a Diamond server doesn't look big enough for your requirements, then contact us - eg. we can provide servers with up to 64GB RAM and 36TB RAID disk space, etc. If you're looking to cluster a Confluence wiki, however, we'd recommend using several cheaper Sapphire servers.

Encrypted connections with SSL

Support

The servers and managed applications are fully supported under our Standard Support service while you host with us. If you need mission-critical support, various support packages are available on request.

Prices

The Diamond server costs £350 GBP per month, which includes management of one Atlassian application. Additional Atlassian applications can be managed (up to a maximum of 32) for an additional £35 GBP per application per month.

Discounts are available for paying in advance:

• Quarterly (3 months): 5% discount
• Annual (12 months): 10% discount
