Show and Hide panel based on content

Hi,

Can someone tell me how to show and hide panels based on the content, page or space?
I have one template that I use, but i really like to be able to hide the title panel when I access other pages than the Home page on one of my spaces.

One other thing I thought about is how to make the title vary from page to page. I want to make the title variable, but if there is no "variable" for one page then I don't want to show the title content.

Any suggesting?
