Logout and history Not working using MediaWiki

I downloaded and installed the mediawiki layout. Everything looks good except the logout and history links do not work. When I scroll over the history Link I see a broken URL path that starts with javascript:void - when i scroll over the Logout link the path looks ok, but when i click on the link it takes me back to the same page and does not log my user out.
I'm using confluence V. 3.2.1_01 and the latest Builder Plugin. How and where can I troubleshoot this?
