Hi
Im trying to change the design on a space where I'm spaceadmin, and I've been added to a group that has been given full rights to the theme. But everytime I change something and press save it loads and resets the layout to the original one.
Do I need to have full administration rights to do this?
Thank in advance for your answers,
Best Regards

I've tried the tips you're proposing without result. The save-button is available but as soon as Philips clicks it all changes are lost. It works when giving him administrator rights to the whole of confluence.
Right now I've created a confluence group and added Philip in it (He's an active directory user). I've then added that group and @spaceadmin-global and @spaceadmin-personal in all the fields in the global rights tab. Philip is spaceadmin in the space he's trying to build the layout for.
If I remove the @spaceadmin-* stuff and remove Philip from the privileged group he cant even access the layout manager.

we are also suffering from this issue. Users who are granted rights to alter the layouts are able to enter their changes, but when they click onto the save icon, the changes are lost.
I installed the latest builder-plugin 4.1.1, but no success.
Please advise...

Your workaround is to create a layout-managers confluence group and assign those users you want to grant layout managing permission to it ... this could easily be confluence-users since you need to be a space/site admin to view the manage-layouts action anyway.

thank you for your response. Where should this layout-managers group go? I've already a special confluence group called "builder-administrators" in Builder Administration -> Global permissions in all there fields listed, but those people complain about the problem.
So I think your workaround does not work in my environment.

I created a group named theme_builders and added Philip to it. It was because that didn't work Philip posted about his problem here.
So, I have the same problem as Thomas, still.
Is there some kind of debuglogging we can active to help you out?
