This article explains how to determine the type of Confluence license you are running. Most commercial plugins require that the plugin license is the same or greater than your Confluence license...
How do I find out what sort of Confluence license I have?
Go in to the Confluence administration console and choose "License Details" from the "Administration" section:
When the page loads, you'll be able to see what type of license you have and the number of users:
So what plugin license do I need?
If you're license type is "Commercial Server" or "Academic Server" you'll need to purchase a plugin license of the same type, otherwise the plugin should run free of charge. The number of users determines the size of plugin license you'll require:
| Number of users |
License Size |
| 25 |
Team |
| 50 |
Workgroup |
| 500 |
Enterprise |
| Unlimited |
Unlimited |
Note: If you're running a cluster or have lots of Confluence wikis that need the plugin, you will need or benefit from Cluster and Site Licenses.
