Choose layout error with Internet Explorer

Hi,

I'm using Confluence 2.8.2 and evaluating Theme Builder 3.2.0. I've come across an issue with the Choose Layout option with Internet Explorer (version 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254CO), but the same steps work fine with Firefox. Unfortunately IE is the standard browser in my company and changing to Firefox is not an option for 10,000+ users. Nor is upgrading to a later version of IE.

The issue occurs after following these steps:

1) In Confluence, view a page from a wiki space you administer.
2) From the Edit menu, choose Administration - Choose Layout.
3) Internet Explorer will try to refresh the page, but the following prompt will appear:

4) After clearing the prompt only the page background is applied and no content appears.

On some occassions the behaviour changes so that this prompt is shown:

This wiki space only contains a single page, called Home. After clearing the prompt the navigation tree appears to remain in a "hung" state:
