Announced today at the Atlassian Summit, the Adaptavist Commercial Plugins, Theme Builder and Community Bubbles [are now available for free]!!

Well, almost. We have released the first milestone build of Community Bubbles 1.5 with the licensing code removed which you can get from the release notes page. The official release should follow soon and will be available to install via the Confluence Plugin repository.

As mentioned in the official announcement, the new free version of Bubbles only comes with our community support level. If you want commercial support for the Bubbles plugin (along with a whole range of other plugins) our [remote hosting] service is for you.

The "Charlie Award" winners were announced recently at the Atlassian Summit Conference. We were happy to see the SunSpace wiki take out the "Not just another wiki" Award: Best use of Confluence.

The SunSpace Confluence installation makes use of some of the features of the Community Bubbles plugin to create a complete enterprise social platform, serving 25,000 SUN employees.

Also exciting news announced just before the Atlassian Summit is that another component of the platform that makes up the SunSpace site: Community Equity, has now been released as open source.

Community Bubbles release 1.5 is now available. This is the first release of the Bubbles plugin available for free for all Confluence license holders.

This release contains updates to the licensing code to allow the plugin to run for free as well as some bug fixes. Checkout the release notes for more information.

The free Bubbles plugin is covered by our community support, if you are interested in commercial support for this and other plugins please contact us for information. (License holders for earlier versions of Bubbles still have access to commercial support for the duration of their original license.)
