{tm} Macro
The {tm} macro makes it easy to add customisable trademarks to your content...
Although you can insert a TM symbol directly in to your Wiki Markup Editor, there are some issues to be aware of:
- The TM symbol is often difficult to read if you are using a small font
- The TM symbol is not supported by all browsers, operating systems and fonts
- If you hyperlink a trademark, the TM symbol often gets and underline making it look odd
- It's not possible to globally brand all trademarks to use the same text colour, fonts, etc.
The {tm} macro allows you to overcome all these issues:
- It's clearly readable with more fonts and sizes
- It works on even the oldest browsers
- The TM symbol never gets underlined
- Trademarks can be branded using style sheets
