The {quote} macro is used to group blocks of content quickly and easily...

When you want to quickly make a block of text or any other type of content stand out, this macro is perfect for the task!

Parameters:

To quote some content, simply wrap it in {quote} macro tags:

{quote}Your content{quote}

Examples:

Standard Use

Hints and Tips:

Quote content of a column (see column macro) to add a clean looking seperator bar down the left hand side, separating the content from the previous column.

To quickly quote a single line of text, use the "bq." marker - see Lists and Indents for more information.

Q Can I change the colour of the bar?
A Yes. Use CSS Custom Styles to customise the way quoted content looks.
Q Can I put quotes inside quotes?
A No. Like almost all macros, you cannot "nest" them.
