Pages

Pages are the content building blocks of your sites...

What are Pages?

In normal websites, the term "page" – also known as a "web page" – refers to any document viewed in your web browser. In Confluence, however, the term specifically relates to a page of content like the one you are looking at right now.

All pages are stored within a Space
and must have a unique title within that Space.

The content that appears on a page is constructed using Wiki Markup Editor (you can use the Rich Text Editor if you don't like using Wiki Notation) and you can add extra formatting and intractive elements to pages using Macros.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q Is there a limit on the number of pages I can have within a Space?
A No. You can have as many pages as desired but bear in mind that the more pages you have the more disk space and RAM you will use on the server — if you are in a hosted environment, there may be restrictions or cost considerations relating to the resources you use.
