Step 2 - Page Settings and Content

You will be presented with a screen that looks something like this:

If desired, you can rename the page by changing it's title1 . Note that the page title must be unique within the current Space. Links to the page inside your Confluence site will be automatically updated2 .

To the right of the title, you'll notice a small trash can icon which allows you to delete the page. For more information, please see our tutorial on Deleting Pages.

Below the title, the current page location is shown. If you want to move the page (either change it's location within the current space or move it to a new space), you can do so by clicking the "EDIT" link. See our tutorial on Moving Pages for more information.

You will sometimes see messages like the following if there is an unsaved draft of the page or if somebody else is currently editing the page, etc:

The main part of the page content can be edited using either the Rich Text Editor or the Wiki Markup Editor. You can also see a preview of your content using the Preview tab.

If you want to restrict who can view or edit the page, edit the restrictions below the editor. For more information, please see our tutorial on Page Restrictions.

Finally, you can alter the labels that are associated with the page.
