What browser and operating system do I need to access Confluence?
Confluence has been tested on a wide range of operating systems and web browsers to ensure that it works as expected for you and your visitors:

What sort of server do I need to host Confluence?
You should have a 1GHz or faster CPU with 256MB or more RAM. Platforms with multiple processors and dual-core processors are supported. For improved threadding, we recommend AMD dual-core Operon processors.
You'll also need the Sun JDK 1.4 and above. Download the J2SE SDK version without the Sun Java System Application Server.
