Confluence
You've seen the other wiki's and blogs, now find out what they left out...
What is Confluence?
Confluence is a powerful wiki, made by Atlassian, that makes adding and maintaining content easier than ever before.
How does it work?
All content is stored in Spaces – each space is a bit like a website and can contain pages, news, discussions and more:
- Navigation features, such as the inbuilt search engine and site map, allow you to quickly and easily locate content
- Changes are tracked using version control, email notifications and web feeds (RSS and Atom)
- Access to content is controlled by the powerful inbuilt security and user management features
- A vast library of plugins allows you to add calendars, task lists, Google maps and just about anything else to your content. You can even personalise content to the logged in user.
Who can benefit from Confluence?
If you need to organise chaos, quickly, easily and intuatively, Confluence is the perfect tool for the job. It allows you to rapidly deploy online content that's easy to use, manage and maintain.
Confluence makes it easy for groups to collaboratively maintain, discuss, categorise and organise almost any kind of content:
- Wiki's, Blogs, Journals
- Corporate websites and intranets
- Knowledgebases and documentation
- Online user guides
Confluence is already used by over 1,000 organisations around the world. See how Sun Microsystems are using Confluence: wikis.sun.com.
