Adaptavist announce Confluence Developer Utilities

Adaptavist are pleased to announce a set of utilities aimed at automating common development and maintenance tasks associated with Confluence.

The pack, which is available free of charge, consits of four easy to use Maven "Project Goals" as follows:

  • conf-dev-utils:rescan - Rescans the plugin folder using the Plugin Manager.
  • conf-dev-utils:uninstall - Uninstalls a plugin from Confluence
  • conf-dev-utils:reinstall - Uninstalls the old version of a plugin and installs a newer version
  • conf-dev-utils:upload - Uninstalls any old versions of the plugin, builds a new version from source and uploads it via the Plugin Manager

We estimate that these utilities will save Confluence developers roughly three hours per week by automating common manual tasks and their related issues.

New Shopping Cart

New Shopping Cart

Adaptavist are pleased to announce the arrival of a simple shopping cart that should make online purchases of Confluence and Builder a little easier...

PayPal's shopping cart enables you to simply click an "Add to Basket" button to buy Confluence and Builder licenses.

We are aware that PayPal causes problems for some clients and are seeking alternative payment methods to streamline the process. However, for everyone else it's now easier than ever to buy Confluence and Builder!

Known Issues:

  • PayPal's shopping cart can currently only handle one currency at a time and as such Confluence and Builder licenses need to be purchased seperately.
  • Customers who have used their company email address to make private purchases via PayPal will not be able to use their company credit card against those email addresses.

At present, we have not linked Confluence license renewals or upgrades to the shopping cart while we assess the new system. We hope to implement these within the next few weeks and are also assessing options for online payments relating to our Host service.
